Surjit Bindrakhia (April 15, 1962 – November 17, 2003) was blessed with a great voice. He was widely believed to be one of the best Punjabi/Bhangra singer in history.
His hits included:- Dupatta Tera Satrang Da, Bas Kar Bas Kar, Hit Geetan Da Guldasta,Tera yar bolda, Lak Tunoo Tunoo, Jatt Di Pasand and countless more!!
He was known for his Hekh(single note continuously sung in one breath). He held a Gunnies book of world record for singing a single note continuously in one breath. Bindrakhia was also known for his great boliyan(Punjabi song Medley).
